8 San Marcos whole jalapeños
1 cup of cream cheese
8 strips of bacon
Toothpicks to secure
Preparation
Cut jalapeños in half and carefully remove the seeds with a spoon.
Fill each jalapeño with cream cheese, then wrap it with a strip of bacon. Secure each with a toothpick.
Place the jalapeños cheese-side down on a grill or grill pan. Rotate frequently until the bacon is crispy and evenly cooked.
