Divorced eggs

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 jar of San Marcos Homemade Mexican Sauce (500g)
  • 1 jar of San Marcos Green Sauce (500g)
  • Vegetable Oil
  • 8 Tortillas
  • 8 Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 580g of San Marcos Refried Beans

Instructions:

01. Heat both sauces separately.

02. Fry the tortillas until soft.

03. Fry 2 eggs in one pan and season with salt and pepper.

04. On a plate, add a layer of green sauce on top of one egg and Mexican sauce on the other. Serve with beans.

San Marcos tip: You can serve with white rice too.

Spicy spinach and mushrooms with fried leek

Ingredients:

  • ½ lt Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Leek, just the white part finely chopped
  • 3 tsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 Garlic Clove, finely chopped
  • 400g Chopped Mushrooms
  • 2 packages of Mini Spinach Leaves (300g each)
  • 1 can of San Marcos Rajas (215g)
  • Sea Salt and Pepper
  • Yellow Lemon Juice

Instructions:

01. Heat the oil in a big pot and fry the leek.

02. Heat the coconut oil and fry the garlic. Add the rajas, mushrooms, spinach leaves and cook. Serve and sprinkle the leek on top.

Peach cupcakes

Ingredients:

 

  • 12 Cupcake Wrappers
  • 1 ½ cup Wheat Flour (235g)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 200g Unsalted Butter
  • 150g Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 can of San Marcos Peach Halves with Syrup (590g)
  • ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Sugar

Instructions:

01. Preheat the oven at 180 ºC

02. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together. In a different bowl whisk the butter and the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and the milk, and then blend with the flour.

03. Fill ¾ of the wrappers with the mixture. Mix ¼ of the cinnamon with the sugar and sprinkle over the cupcakes.

04. Bake for 30 minutes until golden.

San Marcos tip:
Enjoy them with a great cup of coffee or tea.

Tacos al pastor

Ingredients:

 

  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 1 can of San Marcos Chipotles (215g)
  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • ½ Chopped Onion
  • ¼ cup Water
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 8 Chicken or Pork Milanese

Garnishes:

  • Corn Tortillas
  • ½ cup Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • ¼ Chopped White Onion
  • 1 can of San Marcos Sliced Pineapples with Syrup (560g)
  • 1 jar of San Marcos Homemade Mexican Sauce (500g)

Instructions:

01. Blend the oregano with the chipotles, garlic, onion, water, salt and pepper.

02. Pour that in a glass container and fry the Milanese. Finely slice them and heat the tortillas. Make some tacos and enjoy!

San Marcos tip:
You can add Guajillo Peppers to the sauce to make everything tastier.

Ingredients:

 

  • 400 g of bacon cut into cubes
  • 1 and a half chopped onion
  • 290 g of San Marcos Rajas
  • 1 kg of beef fillet cut into cubes
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

01. Fry the bacon until Golden, then set it aside. In the released bacon oil cook the onion until transparent and add the rajas.

02. Cook the other ingredients until Brown, then add the meat and salt. Add the bacon again.

03. Stir and remove when the meat is fully cooked.

  • 500 g of whole milk cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

01. eason the chicken fajitas with garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste, while putting some oil into a pan over medium-high heat. Then add the seasoned fajitas.

  • 1 package of cream cheese
  • 1 cube and a half of chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 290 g of San Marcos Chipotle
  • 500 g of chorizo
  • 2 pinches of garlic salt
  • 1 pinch of onion seasoning
  • 4 cooked potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 18 fried corn tortillas
  • 1 sliced onion
  • Chopped coriander

Instructions:

01. Fry the chorizo in a pan and add the potatoes. Sprinkle the garlic and onion powders and cook for 5 minutes.

02. Place the tortillas in the pan, fill them with the potatoes with chorizo, pour the sauce on top of then and garnish with onion and coriander.

  • 290 gr of San Marcos Rajas
  • 1 kg of ground beef
  • 12 chopped tomatoes
  • 4 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 8 cooked carrots in small cubes
  • 4 cooked potatoes in small cubes
  • 2 cups of cooked peas
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

01. Blend the tomatoes with the garlic, add water if needed.

02. Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the onion and the rest of the garlic.

03. Add the meat and move to make small lumps. Let it brown.

04. Pour the tomato puree and mix. Splash and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat.

05. Add the San Marcos Rajas, carrots, potatoes and peas. Mix and season.

06. Cook for 10 minutes until slightly thick and seasoned.

Ingredients:

 

  • 290 gr of San Marcos Rajas
  • 500 gr of pork rind
  • 500 gr of tomatillo
  • ½ onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 10 sprigs of coriander
  • 1-2 seasoning cubes
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ liter of water
  • 1 pinch of sugar

Instructions:

01. Wash and disinfect all your vegetables. Chop the tomatillos to make the sauce.

02. Roast the tomatillos with oil and put them in the blender. Roast the onion and the garlic cloves, then add the rajas and blend everything together with the coriander, seasoning, salt, sugar and a glass of water.

03. Fry the pork rind with oil and add that to the blender too.

04. Add some water and let it boil for 5 min.
